Over €300,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis seized in gangland crackdown

GARDAÍ HAVE SEIZED over €300,000 worth of drugs from a home in Dublin.

Gardaí yesterday seized 2.5kg of cocaine and 7kg of cannabis herb from a home on Ballyfermot in south Dublin in a planned raid.

The drugs have an estimated combined street value of about €320,000.The raid was carried out yesterday morning and involved the Special Crime Task Force, set up to tackle organised crime in the Dublin region.

The District Drugs Unit was also involved in the operation.

No arrests have been made on the back of the seizure but gardaí said enquiries are ongoing.
